Program or Service Description:
The Blood Lead Reduction Grant is a long term funding award to the Intergovernmental Grants Dept. (IGD) from Housing and Urban Development (HUD) to contract lead abatement in St. Clair County. In order to fulfill grant requirements, IGD has partnered with the St. Clair County Health Department, which provides special blood lead screening and testing services for children age 6 months to 6 years.
